Hazardous waste treatment plant

Zanetti Arturo is authorised to treat hazardous waste, including flammable waste, by means of a shredding plant that allows an adequate volumetric reduction and homogenisation of the waste, in order to improve its subsequent energy recovery.

The authorized area has all the necessary characteristics to operate in total safety:

Bag filter suction system with activated carbons to reduce atmospheric emissions
Automated fire prevention system
Reinforced and waterproofed flooring for resistance to chemicals

All waste is classified according to a set of codes, provided by the European Waste List. Those considered ‘hazardous waste’ are marked with an asterisk *.
